Future Energy Landscape: Let’s talk about renewables

Future Energy Landscape Workshop

We were delighted to welcome 25 people to our first Future Energy Landscape Workshop on Tuesday 27th June.

The workshop (designed by the Centre of Sustainable Energy) explores what types of renewable energy generation might be feasible in our local landscape, from that, what might be acceptable to local people and what contribution would the different types of energy generation make to the energy needs of our Parish.

This was a hypothetical discussion based on local research and data taken from national statistics on energy use and generation. This was about the art of the possible and enabled local people to learn about what renewable technologies were capable of generating whilst imagining a future where we can move away from a reliance on fossil fuels.

You can find the summary of the workshop by visiting this web page https://bit.ly/3Op0Cik (do check the uses of letter ‘O’ and number ‘0’)
