Powering Down: Reduce Demand
Reducing our demand for energy is key to cutting carbon emissions whilst the energy crisis is having an impact on every household’s and businesses’ ability to live and run affordably. Improving your home’s energy efficiency can save you money whilst reducing your carbon footprint.
The greenest (and cheapest) energy is the energy we don’t use.
So what can you do:
GET TO KNOW YOUR HOUSE: All houses are a bit leaky and there is usually something you can do to prevent energy from being lost around door and window frames and even key holes. Light a candle and go and investigate those draughts so you can take action.
