As a village that relies on oil to heat our homes, decarbonising our homes and public buildings sits at the centre of our climate activity. We want to create a community energy plant and to get off oil. We want to support everyone to improve their home’s energy efficiency and to make use of renewable energy resources as a community.

We provide free advice and ideas as well as sign post people to resources about energy efficiency so we can all save money whilst reducing our carbon footprint.

We want to work with local public buildings and homeowners to explore where low carbon technologies might be used to generate our own energy.
