We’re passionate about the beautiful land that surrounds us. We know that nature is in crisis. We’re working together to make real changes, to educate ourselves and others so that we and our land survives for future generations to enjoy.

Operation Nestbox
Swifts are on the endangered species list. We came together as a community to do something to help these birds. Our campaign to design, make and install nest boxes for swifts, swallows and house martins had been a great success story for our community.

Water Conservation
Water is our most precious resource and we need to learn to treat it as such. Our plants need to be resilient to the changing climate. We’re encouraging the use of water butts, the reduction in watering of plants and education of ways to reduce our use of water.

Increasing biodiversity
Long grass is replacing pristine lawns, our use of garden pesticides is reducing, we’re encouraging the wildlife. It’s all about understanding how important every creature is to our ecosystem. Throughout 2024 we’ll be running a campaign to encourage wild flowers.
