The State of the River Rother

Eco Rother Action have organised a further talk by Dave Elliot on the State of the River Rother, the most sedimented river in England.

Sediment, invasive non-native species, agricultural run-off, road run-off, sewage, water extraction, non-native mink, at least 18 weirs or other impediments - our river is having a hard time.

Dave Elliot returns to tell us about the National Trust's plans to rethink the Woolbeding Estate, especially with the health of the River Rother in mind. He will also discuss how by combining forces across the catchment a real change for the better can be achieved, offering a new and exciting vision of the river.
